The Kintsugi Village Mission
Kintsugi Village is dedicated to fostering holistic education and personal growth through the integration of arts, culinary experiences, and retreat-style learning. We are a sanctuary where children and families can explore creativity, embrace mindfulness, and connect with nature. Our programs are designed to nurture the whole child, inspire a love for the arts, and cultivate a deeper understanding of food and its cultural significance. Through our unique blend of educational opportunities, we aim to build a vibrant community rooted in respect, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

Our Story
After eight years of working together side by side in the Small Giants Community and experiencing separate, yet powerful personal healing journeys, Paul & Hamsa decided to start the Kintsugi Village.
Their shared passions for early education, the arts, wellness and hospitality led them down the path of creating a vision for how all of these initiatives could work together. The result is a single campus, an ecosystem where these initiatives co-exist, support each other and impact the community as a whole.
Our Campus
The charm of our historic surroundings serves as the backdrop for a dynamic learning environment that blends tradition with innovation. Our campus, infused with a sense of history, provides a nurturing space where individuals thrive academically and creatively. Diverse programs and events foster a deep appreciation for the special heritage of our community. The neighborhood is rich with history in the city of Detroit, maintains a steadfast loyalty to its traditions, and is home to a diverse, loving group of residents.
